'Relatively new guitar day' that is. I actually had this paid for and put away for me a couple of months back, but I only actually got my hands on it on Thursday, due to being in the wrong country. At long last though, here is the new Tokai LS116F which comes fitted with SD 59's as standard. The current plan is that the Bonamassa set will go in there, but I didn't have chance to get it done whilst I was home. I think it fair to say that this is perhaps the best set-up guitar I've ever found straight out of the shop, it wants a minor adjustment to the the depth of the nut slots, but that's about it, everything is nigh on perfect. The neck is a chunky 50's style, which I rather like. It has a good weight, balances very well, and has a very meaty depth to its voice. It's a pity I didn't get a little more time with it before I had to fly back, but I think I'm going to enjoy this one. On an entirely different subject, I really must re-calibrate my monitors.
