Road trip

I recently went on a 3 day road trip and checked out local non commercial shops, to look for those hidden gems. I found my Ernie ball Earthwood at Grampa's Music in St Augustine Fl. So if you are in the Florida area you should check out these shops. Local shops that carry used gear are becoming harder to find, so I thought I would share the info. Who knows what gem you will find. To me the hunt for or stumbling on a gem is almost as good as having it.
Oh, and all the shop owners seem very cool and willing to work with you, and in some places prices are flexible.

Re: Road trip

Well I have my eye on an Upright bass at Grampa's, I didn't have any room in the van. At Crazy Dave's Music there were alot of cool amps and cabinets like Mesa and Orange. At Crescent City Music I also found alot of amp selections like Trace Elliot and other high end stuff but you had to search a bit, they also had a large selection of acoustic guitars.
As a matter of fact, there were more guitar stuff then bass stuff, but I still liked the road trip and the hunt. So maybe the next trip I will find my next gem!

Re: Road trip

Fogt's in Sarasota was decent, having a large selection of high end used gear.
