Rockfield pickups

I just saw an ad on HC for these pickups and their site looks pretty cool.

So i'm actually already planning on buying the SWC and Turbo.
Just to try it basically.........


So i though it was a good idea to start a thread so we can compare comment and share the info.

Anyone already has one ? Heard or has red anything about it ?

Tried a few Michael Kelly's with them - NOT impressed with the pickups at ALL. Duncan Designeds are better imo.

Very generic, blah.

I played a Mockingbird Special with them in it, they are the vintage ones but were too low output for my needs anyway, sounded alright.

"Rockfield" is a brand owned by HHI, Hanser Holdings, Inc., which is the company that also owns the brands "BC Rich" and "Michael Kelly."

The actual pickups are made offshore.

I was gonna say if they are using them on the Bc Riches chances are they aren't all that good.

Does anyone remember when BC Rich actually used Dimarzio Super Distortions on their NJ's back in 1984-1987? Thems were the days.
