rocksmith creations

hey all.. I bought rocksmith 2014 on a steam sale awhile back. I just thought id use it to learn a song or 2 when i get desperately bored. Mainly I use guitar pro for this but thought this would be something different and perhaps fun

funny thing .. Ive stayed almost exclusively in session mode.. anyone can learn a song but to me.. its more fun to come up with your own stuff

several things i like about RS and equally a lot of **** I hate

main things I hate is the crappy sounds you get and the GUI for those sounds. very occasionally I can get some ok sounds for what I want.Another thing I really hate is the propriety BS cord. The cord just seems to fragile to me. And the configuration process to get anytime of non-laggy sound is cumbersome to say the least

I would be in heaven if the
1)session mode was a stand alone program
2)had a way of selecting a preferred interface and using different drivers such as ASIO .. I use creative ASIO drivers and have no perceived lag at all. I cant really say that with the tone cable. Its very slight but i can still tell
3) use VST's from you favorite modellers or have those modellers part of the program itself

thought id post 3 vids of me playing with rocksmith.. 1 is a blues solo..the 2 others are just kool melodies I came up with. i think they sound kool

#1 is the blues solo..

I actually really like the sound I got and the overall feel..All of it just sorta flowed and this was the result.. I will mention that around 1.50.. I tried to be funny and was into what I was doing.. so i decided to exaggerate that a bit.. the result.. Looks like im possessed ..lmao..

#2 is a melody I came up with from a scale I rarely use.. one of the pros of using rocksmith that I forgot to mention is it makes it so easy to practice scales and to actually apply them..

Re: rocksmith creations

#3 is another melody i came up with.. i like this one way better than #2.. and is in effect the beginnings of a song
