RS Pre-wired kits the same as the 50's mod?

Hi all,

Anybody know if the RSGuitarworks pre-wired kits, specifically the 50's kits, are wired the same way as the 50's mod that is popular here and on the les paul forum?

By 'wired the same way', I mean the tone cap to the middle terminal of the volume pot such that the tone control comes after the volume control?

I emailed RSGW and they replied that the kits are wired in the same manner as guitars in the 50's, so I am assuming 'yes', but I'm too young to have been playing guitar in the 50's and I really don't know if they were all wired that way or not...
