Running 2 heads into 1 cab?

Re: Running 2 heads into 1 cab?

Run both heads through the same cab. It would be nice to use one at a time or both.

Re: Running 2 heads into 1 cab?

I don't blame you. Looks to be a well built unit.
Ever since his split.......I forget he still has a full head of steam.
When people talk about Marshall, Merren and Germino seem to take center stage.
Chris IS a very good winder, and Greg builds an awesome amp.....but they are not the only ones.
Anyway.......thanks again for that Metro link. I hope you are able to buy one of his head switchers. I have installed a few of his Zero Loss Loops in a couple of Ceriatone Plexi Clones, and they were excellent. No doubt his switcher is first class as well.
good luck

Thanks.

It is a nice unit. It has the remote footswitch so that there is no need to run long speaker cables and guitar cables. The man knows what's he's doing!

I was gonna build me one, a simpler version without the remote footswitch (I dunno how to use them relays... I know I should learn them sometime). Basically, it'd be a loop pedal but the signal from the amp that's not active would have to be sent to some load 50 or 100W 8Ohm or 16Ohm.... whatever... But then 2 minor points got me thinking.

1. The signal has to go through a footswitch right? And the amp's signal is strong. So could the footswitch tolerate that kinda strong signals?

2. The wires I would have to use inside the pedal would not be that thick because otherwise they would not fit the footswitch. Maybe that's not a big concern...

I wish to use it with my 5e3 copy and blues jr, 5e3 for the lead and blues jr. for the rythm stuff. I guess I'd need some footswitch that can withstand some high amperage...
