Thanks guys! I ended up buyign a Rocktron Xpression and love it! I think it is very transparent, I can't detect tone robbing issues and I bought the nice Rocktron MidiMate to go along with the Xpression.
The problem I have with single stomps is the innability to have various settings for different songs ready to go and having to hit multiple stomps to get what yo uwant such as boost, effect, channel, etc. I like having rack and midi gear.
