Here's a little something I just simmered up in CoolEdit ... Gibson J-50 acoustic, Strat (x2) sliding.

It was the embryo of a song a while back ... it even had some lyrics ... something about rust red dust.

Kirk I love your melodic slide work. I am so taken by it that I took out my slide again, put some heavier strings on my PRS hollowbody and gave it another go. I realized my brass slide is way too thin, could not get the notes to ring through clearly. So... I contacted Big Heart and they are cutting me a 1.75" long, 3/16" thick bronze bomber today. I am really going to work on this. I figure at my age this will be easier than learning to shred .
