I'm going to get new pickups for my Schecter strat and Parker Nitefly soon. Both are SSH, I know what bridge buckers I want, but I haven't decided on singles or rails yet for the neck and middle.

If I get singles, should the middle pickup be RWRP?

The middle pickup should be RW/RP relative to the slug coils of the humbuckers. When I tested that yesterday for a guy who had a Jazz and JB in his guitar we found that the regular APS-1 single coil was RW/RP with the slug poles of his humbuckers. I did the test by holding both a neck APS-1 and a RW/RP middle APS-1 against the slug poles and seeing if it was attracted or if it was repeled. We went with the one that was attracted and that turned out to be a standard neck model...not the RW/Rp model of the APS-1. Lew

So lew, is there any way to tell BEFORE I purchase them? Also, by the way, did you get those new rails pickups in stock yet?
