S.D.Blackouts

Hey e'budy. I've installed a couple of Seymour Duncan "Blackout" active pups. Using the wiring diagram every thing is working but the diagram is showing a ground wire to the bridge/taipiece unlike the equivalent E.M.G.setup. Is this ground wire necessary?

How noisy is the guitar? With active setups you usually don't need to ground the bridge unless unwanted noise is an issue.

Welcome to the forum!

I've always used a ground wire on SD active setups, and haven't tried to wire one without it. If it isn't a big deal, add it. If you decide to eliminate it, let us know if it is noisy or not.
