I have my Custom Custom bridge paired with an Alnico II Pro in the neck. I love the set they compliment each other really well. The volumes match and the A2Pro in the neck has some of the same sweet characteristics as the CC does.
That's in an SG that's about half mahogony half maple (3/4" maple cap) though but I still think it would be a good option for your Tele.

I have the CC with Alnico II Pro in several guitars. These should be sold as a pair, they work so well together.

The Alnico II Pro is rounder than the PG. Take that spike in the highs that the PG has, and put it in the mids, and that is the Alnico II Pro.
