S1 Switch Wiring Diagram for humbucker coil split

Hello all!

Brand new to wiring. I have a Fender Ultra Tele and I want to change the pick-ups to a Vintage Stack in the neck and Red Devil in the bridge. I don’t really need the S1 switch to switch between series and parallel, so I’d like to wire it to split the humbucker. Could someone provide a wiring diagram, please?

Let us know how the split Red Devil sounds. I haven't found a split little humbucker that sounds good to me, but I hadn't tried that one.

Thanks! I will probably just keep the wiring the same. After looking at the existing wiring all night, I think it might be a bigger project than I want to take on. And you are right, the coil splitting probably won’t sound great anyway.

What is the wiring of that Tele like now? What does the switch do?

the red devil strat pups sound good in parallel, i might go that route if you do end up changing the wiring

The S1 switch is a 4PDT switch with 12 connection points. To do a split, you only need a SPST switch. So, on the S1, you'd only use two of the 12 terminals. I'll try to find my diagram if you decide to mess with it.
