I haven't tried one yet, but am very eager to. I'd also like to try the ones EBS and MXR make. Right now, I own the Hartke Bass Attack, which is incredible value for money, and sounds terrific (but a bit sterile), but as CapoFirstFret rightly remarks, for live use it isn't even near perfect. It has a footswitchable shape function, that triggers preset EQ-settings you can select with a knob on the front panel, and a footswitchable 'tube emulation'. Both cool features, but both boost the volume quite significantly, especially when you use them both at the same time.
