Satriani Y2K model

Take a look at this

A store advertises this guitar as a Satriani Y2K model. It has Satrianis signature on the body (and the pics to prove it). It has a lo-pro edge trem. system, DiMarzio PAF pro neck and a DiMarzio Fred bridge.

But since the body is acrylic, how does it sound? I know BC Rich has a few acrylic models, but I never had the chance to play one.

awesome, I didn't know those have clear pickup bobbins too.

warning these are HEAVY AS HELL. Probably twice as heavy as heavy as a solid mahogany guitar would be. Not practical for that reason. It has a unique tone to it, not bad, but it's not wood. It's really hard to describe.

That thing is bad ass. I'm not so much of a fan of anything that's not a LP Custom, AMerican BC Rich or PRS these days either. THat thing is cool.
