Hey Grits - my flatmate just ordered one from the States. Will take 4-6 weeks to ship and cost him a little over $3k. Once it arrives I'll let you know

Am gassing for the same amp too - love the see-thru glass! My flatmate got the white with gold trim :smack:

*DROOLS UNCONTROLLABLY*

Of all the boutique amps I've heard clips of the splawns take the cake. Good choice!

Conversion from US to NZ is actually pretty good at the moment. In perspective, a factory 59 Bassman here costs around NZ$3k from the store, so a pretty good deal I think!

Re: Say hello to Mr. Quick Rod

Nice amp! Are you going to get a Splawn 4-12 or 2-12 too? I'm done amp shopping for now, but if I ever see one pop up locally at a good price, I'm grabbing it anyway.

Re: Say hello to Mr. Quick Rod

XSSIVE--

thanks =D yeah, I think you mentioned something about the case before..any hints?? =D

GEARJONESER--

I got a 4x12 with x-pattern eminence on the way as well ;) I debated whether to get the 2x12 or the 4x12 and I figured the hell with it...might be a little more wear and tear on my back but I just like the sound of a 4x12...can't beat em! besides, lugging **** around is what singers are for..lmao

thanks all around guys =) ****tily recorded pc mic clips to come when it arrives..lol
