Say Hello To Rosie

Re: Say Hello To Rosie

I finally got my replacement tremolo today and I strung the guitar up. The tremolo was a pain because the block was too short for the cavity and I had to take the new saddles and screws and put them on the old block and baseplate. I also had problems getting the springs to stay in the block. The POS sleeve for the trem arm also broke. I also need to block the tremolo. Otherwise the string tension is really low despite the action being a bit high.

Once I plugged in I realize I wired the JB hybrid incorrectly and it sounds horrible, so rather than try and fix it I pulled the JB out and put in a Custom 8. I'm not really sure I can call her Rosie anymore? Because this guitar despite appearances is a 800LB silverback gorilla! Also by some strange fluke I check the intonation and it's nearly perfect without adjustment. The guitar is a little on the dark side so I might replace the volume control because I'm not sure of its value?

Can't go wrong with the Custom 8. I'd like to try a Custom 8 with ceramic spacers in a single pup strat like that. But I want it to be a Hello Kitty model.
