SC-sized neck pickup question..

...do any of the SD SC-sized humbuckers sound similar to the Jazz? I have a guitar with a Lil'59 in it right now, and it's OK, but I prefer the Jazz tone - and I prefer not to have the guitar routed for a neck hum. Any ideas?

Sort of. It seems to lose too much body for me when split on its own. It does do well when split and used in conjunction with a middle single. I preffer the CR in parallel myself.

The cool rails is a very nice neck pickup, but I'd say its a tad darker and fatter than a Jazz.

True, but its less fat than, say, the 59. I think the CR is about as close as you can come in a SC-sized humbucker.

The Cool Rails is similiar to the Jazz but both are outstanding and probably my two favorite Duncan neck pickups.
