Scarlet & Scourge cover cost?

I have a project where I think the Mark Holcomb Scarlet & Scourge set would be perfect. But it must be the matte black covers for this to work. Why does that add $60 to the price? Maybe there's a good reason. Seems a little excessive for covers. It's just enough to make me pause before ordering them. Anyone have a clue?

Yeah, I see the price change when I go with matte black. That doesn't make any sense. I can't imagine the paint itself is that much more expensive. I'd send an email to customer service asking if that is correct, and if it is, why. I don't think powder coated black is that much of an upcharge on other pickups.

They've sent me a couple products to test out, in the past. Including my Twin Tube Classic. I guess I can eat the 60 bucks. :banana:
