SCBP-1 Vintage

New here.
Long time Seymour customer as we live in Santa Barbara.
Anyway, the SCBP-1 Vintage pickup fit into my Fender Squire Bronco Bass after sanding the top
bobbin plate just a little to go through the pick guard. .
To get the tone right , as the D and G were really dead , regardless of pickup height adjustments,

So, the fix was to replaced the .05uF (50nF) tone capacitor with a .022uF ( 22nF). Then all the strings had great balance and the tone control has more range.
I could have swapped out the control pots to 500K, but that also introduces more hum, thus the stock 250K pots, and a smaller tone capacitor, was much simpler and effective.

Everything Seymour does is awesome. Quality pickups make a huge difference and Seymour has it wrapped up and wired!
(pun intended)

My Thanks and holiday greetings to Family and crew at Seymour Duncan, you guys are the best and have made my good guitars into exceptional guitars.
Your support and guidance through out 35* years is priceless.
