SCHALLER 5-way lever

hey fellas!
I need help with my SCHALLER 5 way lever switch. I wanted to install it in my guitar following the wiring diagram by schaller but it didnt work. the diagram had tons of spelling and logic mistakes so I suppose there is something wrong with it.
Does anybody have experience with it?? It has got 7 connections plus one ground all on the same side of the switch. I am not using it like in a strat so my (master) volume is past all the switch stuff! I only want to decide between 3 pu's and have a hot lead going from it!

no, it's not! it has only got 7 connections plus a ground. I am not really happy so far with that schaller stuff.
