First post here. I built an Ibanez RGA tribute from scratch, intending to use a Megaswitch M and a set of Black Winters.
I used Schaller's wiring diagram for the HH10 configuration.
When I soldered everything and pluggged in the guitar, it sounded awful. The bridge HB position 1 was thin and harsh and other positions did not sound as I expected. (I even measured the DC resistance for each position, and they were close to my calculated values.) So, I assume that I have wired the pickups incorrectly.
I searched these forums and other sites for more information about which wire color matched the + and - shown on the Schaller diagram, but I found conflicting info.
I found this chart on another site: https://www.1728.org/guitar8.htm
But on the Schaller web site, it says for standard SD humbuckers:
Thanks!

- screws south, black +, white -
- fixed poles north, red +, green -
Thanks!
