Schecter Hellraiser

Hey dudes, i just want to know your opinion about the Schecter Hellraiser, cause im seriously thinking about buying one, i test it on the guitar center and i thought it was pretty good, but i want to know the complications with the active pups, and if the guitar is good for the price ($600 i think), so if you own one or had playd one please tell me your experience thanks

Man 4 any type of Rock Schecters own!!!! Short of having a multiple $1,000 guitar they have no equal IMHO! Coming in at under a grand they kick much ars! My favs are the C1 models but that's cuz of my musical style preference.

I admit that I don't know much about their quality construction and other qualities such as the quality of materials and durability. But as far as tone goes they put many of the expensive axes to shame! Schecter PWNS them all! :chairfall Pure PWNAGE!

Mahogany body, quilted maple top, set neck, 81/85, TonePros, Grovers, 24 fret 25.5" scale, what's not to love?

ESP is in the same class, IMO, as Schecter. My favorite axe for classic rock used to be the ESP Horizon series. Especially the ones with the 59 and JB(b) pickups. But the Schecter C1 Exotic inches ESP out by a nose as far as I'm concerned. And it only has Duncan Designed PUs. It's a photo finish between the two though. I could live with an ESP if there was no Schecter to be found.
