Schecter Pickguard Replacement

Hey guys, I have a Schecter Nick Johnston Sig guitar. Wonderful guitar, kind of a traditional vintage type with some modern appointments. Kind of like a Fender Classic Player Strat. It has an HSS pickguard. I'd like to replace it with a mint green SSS pickguard. My Schecter has a master volume and tone instead of the traditional volume and two tone controls.

Does anyone know if a replacement pickguard will fit correctly? Warmoth, Allparts, WD, Fender, Guitar Fetish, etc..... I called Schecter and they do not offer replacement pickguards at all. They also say that no replacement pickguard will fit; not even if I had a Schecter pickguard.

What do you guys think? Anyone have any experience with this? I could probably call Warmoth, send them my pickguard and have them use it as a template and cut me a new one. I don't want to go through that though.

I have a similar issue with my strat knockoffs recently
They have non standard shapes

If you have an aftermarket guard
You could hold them up together to see how much off they would be

Or how much you would have to trim them

I have a couple of SSS strat guards
If you want I could send you one in white to see ....

I have a plan to recover my Donner with contact paper

Its not really paper but a vinyl with peel and stick backing

Shelf paper

Made for recovering kitchen cabinets

Super cheap on Amazon

Anyway , there are several places that will take a tracing and make you one

I dont thin warmoth will make custom guards. I could be wrong

Most likely, you will have to send off your pickguard (or do a *really* accurate tracing) to a company that custom makes one. If it wasn't for wanting a specific color, you could also look for a humbucking pickup to get a sound close to what you are looking for. I am guessing both will be about the same price.

Yes, to Jeremy's and your points, I can send the pickguard to Warmoth and they will do a custom guard using mine as the template. I'm trying to see if I really need to do that.
