Schematics

Hey guys, my friend wants to try to build a replica of some vintage, stuff can some of you point to fairly athentic schematics of say JTM45s, the original JCM800s that are so praised here by many, also it he gets good eventually, how much do you think there would be of a demand for something like Marshall 1987 replicas? What other vintage clones are not too complex to build but yet there might be a demand for them? Thanks.

Tell him there's a serious glut of people building replicas of vintage Marshalls, by people who are too lazy and/or unimaginative to do anything original, so they just crank out copies of the tried-and-true. If he hasn't even done enough homework to know the three links above, and asked you to ask us instead, then he has all the makings to be another one of them.

Re: Schematics

Thanks man, naw he is doing his homework, that's why he asked me, because he does not play guitar seriously and never really cared for gear. But he loves analog/tube stuff, his Dad was in electronics all his life and just by knowing him eventually he would want to make something that would give people more than just clones.
