I think this cab isn't much to write home about. Compared it to Theodie's Marshall 1960 cab and it was flat and lifeless by comparison. Theodie's cab was loaded with celestion V30's and it rocks. A proper cab would help, but there's more to the story really. Even when ran through Theodie's cab it just wasn't for me. The EQ of the amp doesn't really agree with me and the top end was still a little fizzy.

The EQ thing I can definitely understand - it's got an active EQ on it that is a total bitch to learn. I actually never kept settings above 5, just kept it in the normal passive range - the boosts it gave above 5 were disgusting.

I'm just an EL-34 kinda guy. Maybe KT66's could help this amp, but I'm just not gonna spend the cash to find out.
