Hi,
I need help as i have emailed Seymour Duncan and there's been no reply.
I am doing some pickup replacements for my friend. He bought an old squier strat and a new 5-way switch and 250k pots and decided to follow this advice from the Seymour website after listening to the samples; 'For an incredibly versatile guitar, use an SCR-1n in the neck position along with an SHR-1b Hot Rails in the bridge and an SVR-1n Vintage Rails in the middle.'
I have wired up the pickups exactly as the wiring schematic for each pickup says and they are working....but only in the middle three switch positions, not in either of the end positions. I understand that these are different types of pickups as they come with different wiring schematics, so i looked on the Seymour website to see if there was a diagram for this combination, however Vintage Rails seem to be isolated to only one schematic (which consists of three of them) none in combination with the others.
What is the problem?
Have i wired the pickups incorrectly and if so what schematic should i use?
All help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
