Hey all I've got this really, really nice Jackson guitar and I wanted to know if I could do anything about the wear and tear on the finish from years of playing? Guitar has no missing paint/chips just lots of fine scratches.

Turtle Wax rubbing and polishing compound (use both.) Possibly a wet sand with 2000 if that doesn’t work. Saves elbow grease if you have a rotary/orbital car polisher for the hard poly btw.
Re: Scratch removal, is it possible to DIY at home?
You can do that quite well yourself but it is a LOT of work. Turtlewax won't do a lot on scratches this deep, so I'd recommend you look at other materials.
