I'm a little concerned about it sounding like a neck pickup for leads. That's a sort of mid '80's tone I don't care for.

I should have also asked about the A2.

i think the a2 demon would work well for you. IME, PRS guitars are very plucky sounding, and an a2 would smooth that right out.

A2 in a demon eh... was going to try it with a ceramic, but this is a very interesting option

+1. I think that might be a place where A2's shine: in bright, overwound bridge HB's like JB's & Demons. They'd add some warmth without totally taking off the top end.

The Demon sounded great in my all mahogany and chambered Warmoth LP. I didn't even think about doing a mag swap. Sounded really good as is. But if I was going to swap, it would be for an A2 or A8. Those (and the A5) are the ones I like the best (the ones I've tried).
