i've been wanting to buy a really good overdrive pedal and ended up liking both of these. i bought the british steel overdrive first, but then decided to go ahead and just get the silverstone overdrive too. they're pretty epensive (around $189 ea., but i got a great deal) and sell pretty good so i'm pretty sure i can get my money back if one of them doesn't work out.
ends up that i think i'm going to use my british steel for a distortion kind of pedal on the clean channel and my silverston for an overdrive on my slightly driven crunch channel. what do you think about that setup?
