SD Custom set in electric guitar

Hey guys. I've been doing some soul searching and have maybe an idea on what I want in my electric. Walnut body, hardtail bridge, seven string, 24 fret. I am looking at the SD custom humbucker and the SD custom staggered single coil. The hum in the bridge the single in the middle, and maybe later adding a pegasus in the neck. Thoughts?

Sounds awesome I think, apart from the fact that I'm more partial to HH than HSH pickup configs, but that's my personal taste. I personally have no experience with any of the pickups, but I've just ordered a custom for my 7 string based on forum recommendations. The guitar is still basically in its planning stages, so it'll be while before I can really have an opinion.

You did however neglect to mention the kind of music you play, the neck wood and the fretboard wood, so I would suggest you may want to mention those, before any of the more experienced people on this forum get a little grumpy.

And I've been wondering about putting the pegasus in the neck position, so if you do, please post about what it's like there.

Yes those details. Rosewood fretboard, maple neck. Graphite nut if I'm lucky. Heavier gauge strings. I would like to play in tunings around d standard. I would like to play metal, blues, alternative.
