SD gold covers and Epiphone gold hardware, do they match?

The title pretty much sum's it up...Are Seymour Duncan gold pickup covers an exact match for Epi gold hardware on my SG Custom? Thanks in advance

As a rule, the pole spacing is different on an Epiphone cover from pole spacing on Gibson pickup.... And it follows that Duncan stuff would be Gibson spaced.

I have Duncan gold pickups in my SG that don’t match each other. The neck is 10+ years older and has a deeper rich gold color, while the newer bridge is a paler whiter gold. So I think it’s difficult for diff manufacturers gold plating to match. However, I can really only notice the difference when I hold the guitar about 12” from my face.

Thanks for all your replies....Order placed for a Custom 5 with gold covers, looks like I was set on it even if it didn't match plus its all they had in stock and I didn't want to wait for a 59' Custom Hybrid, so a few were right that it isn't gonna matter...lol

The SD Brobucker in my avatar was a good match in my Epi Elitist Custom Les Paul. I don't know that any replacement pickup will ever be 100% match. Also, from the factory the Bigsby on my Wildkat Royale isn't 100% match for the pickups and bridge.

If the Epi is brand new, the gold has a better chance of matching. It tends to change the shine and saturation over time, and that is what is difficult to match.
