Anyone made a switch between these either way? What are your experiences like? What can I expect if I change from JB to 85? Thanks!

They sound completely different...........The JB is my favorite duncan pickup but the 85 is my all around favorite pickup..........The emg has much more bass frequencies, has a lot more low mids than the JB, sounds warmer, fatter under gain, and has more output.
On the other hand the JB is much more focused on the high mids, cuts well through the mix and it has much better cleans than the 85.
