SD P90's For an Agile LP

Just bought an Agile AD-2500 LP Double-Cut copy. It's mahogany with a maple cap. It's a cool guitar but I do not like the stock pickups and am looking for some recommendations from the Tone Crew

I play mostly Classic Rock and Blues and I used to have an LP Special that had the P-100's in it that I loved. I also had a Hamer Special P-90 that I was never happy with the bridge pickup in (don't remember why, sorry). I am leaning towards a set of P-90 stacks but I would like to hear some of your experiences and recommendations so fire away and TIA.

P.S. If you click on the link to my band's website in my sig there is a track named "I Need You" that I used my old LP Special on. That is the sound I want to hear from P-90's and is what works for me. Thanks.

If you like the Gibson P-100's (many people don't) I'm sure that you will LOVE the SD P-90 stacks. For starters they are wired up to 4+ shielded cable to allow for 3 or 4 distinct modes.

The P-90 stacks don't sound exactly the same as regular P-90's. Because of the design they seem to have a more compressed sound. So keep your receipt and don't trim the pickup leads short until you get a chance to evaluate them for yourself.

I've tried the vintage p-90 set. They rock!! But I can compare them to any other models... Sorry!!!
