I've noticed that whenever I use my Shure PGX wireless system, my guitar signal's input gain goes down just enough that I can hear a slight difference; it's like the pickups have become a bit weaker. I know that the gain loss is due to the fact that the signal is transmitted wirelessly, so I'm wondering if putting a booster between the amp and the wireless receiver would fix this problem.
I was thinking of the SFX-01 because it has up 25db of clean boost, right? Would this solve the slight decrease in output and bring the signal's gain back up on par with a cable?
Oh and one more thing, I know that Seymour Duncan explains that the resonance switch does not work with a wireless unit. I'm using humbuckers so I don't need the switch. I just want to raise the output level back to where it should be.
