hey guys need help here.. I have an American Deluxe Fat Strat Fender with 5 way super switch, I put SS-5 in neck position, JB TB4 in bridge position and the fender noiseless in middle position. When I switch to position 2,3,4 i get a thin quacky sound especially in the 4th position. I read in the SD wiring diagram that..
"If two pickups sound thin and wimpy when used together, chances are, they’re out of phase with each other. If you’re combining your Seymour Duncan pickup(s) with Fender® pickup(s) in the same guitar, you’ll need to reverse the black and white wires on the Seymour Duncan. In other words, solder the white wire to ground and the black wire to the selector switch."
do I have to reverse both the neck and bridge wires? I know the easiest way is to change the middle pickup with RWRP pickup but here in my country is difficult to get one of those RWRP pickups..
thanks for the help guys.. :1:
