SD Quarter Pound P-bass Question

Hello, I ordered a quarter pound pickup for my 2011 highway one p-bass, and I am curious if anyone has any suggestions on the wiring. Should I upgrade the parts or just use what's already in it. I'm open for suggestions and would also like to hear what any of you may have tried and liked. Thanks!

welcome to the forum!

i would use the stock wiring and just put the pup in for now and see what ya think. will probably sound awesome. im a big fan of the qp p bass pup. fat and loud

I agree, wiring and components should be OK.

QP's are going to be quite a different tone, hope you love it!
