I'm thinking of the similarity between "Under Lock and Key" and "Invasion of Your Privacy"'s tones. That said I'm pretty sure Lynch was in Eb.

Warren and George were both using Lee Jackson modded Marshall Super Leads on those two albums, George mentioned also using some Laney AOR heads in conjunction but the main sound was the Marshalls. He talked quite a bit about that on "Tone Talk" (great episode!) and Warren also mentioned in interviews that he used these on "Invasion" while Robin was using the Jose Marshall amps.

Agreed! "King" wrote so many of the classic Ratt songs, Ratt was glammy but still tough! It's the one "hair metal" band that most metal fans still considered cool, well them and Dokken haha! If you have not listened to Robin's last interview, it is a must! It's up on YouTube, Mitch Lefon, it is pretty long, sometimes sad, but worth the time, Robin made me laugh out loud more than once. He was in a rehab/hospital facility and bedridden at the time, but he still had dreams and plans to do something big. Robin said he used the Seymour Allan Holdsworth pickup (or a JB if he couldn't find one), so either Jake E Lee got that from him or vise-versa. That said, I have always really wanted to try an RTM, any idea if there is any difference between the production and CS versions?

I've wanted to try the RTM for a while. But at the same time, the JB's high-end is kind of rolled off in itself. I can't imagine an overwound JB with a darker-sounding magnet being very usable. But I'd still be curious. Might be the first A2 pickup I actually like.

No difference in the CS and Prod versions. They just moved it from the CS to the Prod offerings.

The Rattus sounds rad. Cool that he likes hot pickups, has a QP in the neck. Everything doesn't have to be vintage to be delux. I like the metallic mid grind of very hot pickups. Also cool that his personal pup is double screw. How come they don't come stock that way?

Doesn't look double-screw to me.

Actually, 24 seconds into the RTM video from the original post, Warren holds the guitar up close to the camera and it certainly looks like a double row of screws.

Can you not read? His personal pup, the one that he's playing in his super strat in the video is double screw. The production ones are not.

You could always get the Holdsworth, which is what he said he used until he corrected himself.
