SD Twin Tube Classic 8552 vacuum tube?

Hello, SD does not deliver a serious response because my new pedal valve is 8552 and not 6021 as specified. Only with 6 months of moderate use tubes fail. I can expect from this?...

Some of those audio tubes may be interchangeable, and it's possible the manufacturer decided to switch to a batch of tubes they felt were more reliable.

That's just an educated guess. This is the first I heard of this topic.

As always, save your original box and receipt just in case you need to use your warranty. And always use the proper power supply.

I've had my TTC for nearly two years now with no problems whatsoever. I've not opened it up to even see what tubes are in it. Now I'm curious.

I love my TT but had 2 fail. I do not know why. I use number 3 carefully.
