SD Wiring Diagrams Orientation

Hello!
I'm just getting into the world of guitar modification at the moment and I'm stuck with a few questions. I'm planning on changing the bridge pickup of my Squire Tele 50s Classic Vibe to a Little 59 as the original one is way to bright and harsh for my style of playing. Now as the new one would be a Humbucker, I thought I could get the most out of it, if I changed my Volume Pot to a push/pull pot right away if I'm unscrewing everything, so I could use the Coil Splitting possibility as well.
Now I've already read through the wiring 101 sites on the webpage and found the appropriate wiring diagram (http://www.seymourduncan.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/Tele_1H_1S_3B_1VppSPL_1T.pdf). Unfortunately I've not quite understood the whole wiring thing and therefore have two specific questions.
1) Which way around is the Push/Poll Pot oriented in that diagram? If I use this one for instance

. Should I use the top/bottom left/right contacts?
2) How is the switch going to work? Is it Humbucker if it is pushed and Single Coil when pulled? That's the way I would like to wire it up as I would use the Humbucker more often and don't won't to risk accidently pushing it while playing. And if it's the other way around, how would I have to wire it then to get it the way I imagined?

As you can see I'm not really into the whole switch wiring stuff yet and it would be great to get some help for a beginner here from you.
Thanks in advance!
Lauritz

Re: SD Wiring Diagrams Orientation

The drawing is upside down from the photo you posted. So if the photo were wired, the top right lug nearest the pot would go to ground, and the right-middle lug would have the white+red wires. The result would be down is normal humbucker and up is split to single coil.

Looking at it as in the image, the upper 3 (bent) contacts are the same as any other non-push-pull pot.

The remaining 6 contacts are for the switch. I'm pretty sure it will work like this:
When the pot shaft is down, each of the 2 centre contacts is electrically connected to the contact below it.

When the pot shaft is pulled up, each of the centre contacts is connected to the respective contacts above them.
