It's a great pedal. When I picked mine up, Sam Ash were "blowing them out" for $50.

The 250 works incredibly well with solid state amps. The only thing stopping me from picking one up is I just bought the Decibel 11 Dirt Clod and that can dial in the 250 pretty closely.

I find it goes well with Strats. Any of your Malmsteen, Hendrix, Stevie Ray type of tones.
