Yeah and the beauty of Randy's LP is his "relicing" was done the old fashioned way... Smoke, sweat, Jager and playing the he** out of it!

Well, not that I think I can hang with the bursts that have already been posted here, but in the spirit of adding to the pool of guitars already gracing this thread.... my LP. She's just a traditional, but I love that guitar. She has a JB in the bridge, a Bigsby and a Schaller roller bridge... a weird beast, but fun to play.

Thats a beautiful top on that faded. That model was very hit or miss on the finishes and how they turned out. You got one of the good ones.

F*%^ ME!!!!! Every since I was a kid, I always thought 3 pup LPs were the shizzle and of course, my older bro was into frampton and I thought his axe was so cool. Even as I got older and Kinda fell into the "pointy Kramers and charvels rule" stage of life, I stll lusted for the triple pup. The closest Ive ever come is this:
Not quite the same league, the epi was suprisingly a pretty darn nice player.. I really regret having sold it. Plus the black ones are very rare.

If the test were strictly "playability" what Les Paul model do you think most advanced guitar players would choose?

dimished triad. quite honestly, I fell for the smacktalk that Epis werent good enuff and decided I needed a "real gibson". Looking back, I was a fool. I love my gibbys but that one played as good, sounded fine and weighed only about 6 lbs..
