Let's see your artistry! This category is for any axe that has been refinished from it's original state to something else. Don't care who did it. Bottom line, there should be able to be a before/after where they do not look the same/same color etc. but it is NOT required - though it may help.

IN:
- Stripped paint and did the wood
- Sanded finish and dyed/stained etc even if originally bare
- Took bare and finished it with stain whatever
- Took and repainted
- Added graphics
- Decals (but it better be more than just one sticker!

So let's see the custom paint/finishes!!!!

I don't see where taking bare from the start and finishing it counts as a refinish. To "re" something is to do it again. But, whatever.

This is a poll where clarity of the image is gonna be critical, not overall photo quality. I'd use one of your other versions that better shows the Dragon etc...

MII Jackson ,deleted neck pickup, tone and switch.EMG 81 with 18v mod & chrome surround,routed to fit better Jackson Floyd ,stripped finish and re-painted black,airbrushed Duckula and clear coated body

This guitar is my first electric. The body was splitting into two pieces at the glue joint. Had quite a few dings. So glued it back together, stripped the old finish and found some nice grains. stained it red and gave it clear finish. I was limited to using the old pick guard, because of it's odd shape, and cause i was unable to get my hands on any pick guard material. My little niece loves it too, she call it "Fish Guitar".

Phoenix on the far right BTW is technically also a refin, and the two in the middle no longer live here.

Edit/ Update.. Unfortunately, I have no before pics of the instrument... but funnily enough, I just realized that both my model 6 and my Soloist were originally Ferrari Red.... So Phoenix´s before pics will do fine. She was this color but in good condition before the refin

Jackson DKMG Trans Black. i don't have a picture of my particular guitar pre-refin. this image is from musician's friend.:



scraped off poly w/ razor blade. sanded down to bare wood. stained front and back. sanded head stock. laminated veneer to head stock. stained. 20-25 coats of tru-oil. made cavity covers.
