Thanks for the compliments!
I don't know for certain because I have not tried it, but based on my knowledge that the Roland GR-20 synth unit has foot switch controlled modes for triggering glissando type pitch changes against a note that is held steady on the guitar, I would say that either the GK3 pickup cannot deliver the level of detail necessary to yield a smooth and accurate glissando, or the GR-20 synth unit cannot adequately interpret the GK3 pickup's changing, microtonal output if you the player are changing the note via the trem bar. *But* the GR-20 is not "current" technology - the GR-55 replaced it as of about 2010, and there one or two other synth unit manufacturers on the market as well...
*EDIT* I'm just curious: what synth-type sounds are you envisioning wanting to employ a glissando-type pitch change against? I.e. a keyboard type sound? A strings-type sound? Etc
I've entered this one before and I'll do it again. 1988 Kramer Baretta, single reverse-zebra JB, single volume control, Original Floyd Rose, maple/rosewood neck. The graphic was painted by Dennis Kline. This is one of my two best sounding guitars and it resonates like mad.

My entry, Ibanez SA 120..
This one like Evan's Tele gib should not be allowed. It wins hands down .......
.. This is honestly the best looking Kramer I have ever seen.
Like Ascension I have a soft spot for the Grover Jackson era Washburn MGs, my favorite of the lot (I have three, two from Ascension and one from BloodRose) is my MG-122 but I feel the most SuperStratty is this, my MG-104:
