Howdy all, I was a long time member of this forum back in the early 2000's, not too many names from back then I recognize. Seems like things have settled down here a bit.
Anyway, I've been getting more and more into music production and I thought it would be a fun little game to do a round robin style song.
I'll post a sound clip, a theme, and any relevant musical info (key, bpm, etc) on a Monday. Anyone who responds to the thread by Wednesday can record a track. Sunday night everyone posts their track. Then the next week we all mix them together and post them on Friday to see what everyone came up with, and share tips and techniques.
Now, I know anything that touches music comes with ownership, and I don't know too much about it. Can someone with experience in the music buisness chime in on what the best way to handle this so no one tries to use other people's work for commercial gain.
If theres enough people interested, I'd be down to do more. It would be nice to help breath life back into this forums old bones.
