Seagull Artist vs Seagull Maritime vs Guild D-140

Hello guys.

I need some opinions.

1) Which one does have better tone and quality? Seagull Maritime vs Guild D-140

2) Are Seagull Artist Series Guitars far superior than Maritime and Guild D-140 as tonally?

3) All Seagull guitars "even cheap ones" have Nitrocellulose Lacquer finish and Canadian made. Do make these ones better than Guild ones? (Guild's are Chinese Made)

4) What do you think and have heard about Guild Westernly Collection? (Guild D-140, D-150 etc.) Are they good for the price? (They are Chinese Made)

5) Is the Preamp on Guild D-140 good? Is there a slot on the exterior side of the guitar to change the battery of it easily?

6) I play the guitar outside. Probably lacquer wears off gradually. Does it effect the guitar in a bad way tonally? (Humidity, Sun Light, etc.)

7) Guild D-140 vs D-150?

8) Are Guild Westernly Collection Quality Stable? I may order it from internet without playing.

IMO, for the money, you cant beat Seagull. Some may not like cedar tops as they tend to be less loud than Spruce. Just look at how tidy all the electronics are inside as well. I also think that you dont really need all solid woods on the sides. They say the solid sides will "open up the longer you own it". I also like the lack of sticky finish on the necks. Listen for yourself, dont think more expensive is better
