So, I did a pickup swap and the pickups have a little more "sway" to them then I feel good about. Odds are it's nothing but since I have the oppurtunity to do something about it while I have the guitar apart....

Would a few wraps of electrical tape around the covers to fatten up the size of them be a solution? Is there something better I could do?

Thanks...

Stick some foam in that cavity! The foam from Duncan pickups actually work exceptionally well for this.

Man, I never would have thought of that. Definetly keeping that in mind next time I put in some duncans!
Just one more reason why I would choose you as my guitar tech if I were to become a famous guitarist!

Rock On!

I stick a marmot under them.

But seriously, make sure the wire underneath isn't pushing up on it, if not, stick some foam under there like DSS said. People do it all the time. It's a common "issue".
