Do you want humbucking pickups (like Vai and Satriani use) or single coils (like Hendrix and Syevie Ray Vaughn use)? If your guitar will only take Strat single coils you'll have a hard time sounding exactly like Vai and Satriani do with humbuckers...

+1

Single coil-sized humbuckers will never quite sound like a full humbucker, but some pickups might help get you in the ballpark. I would go with a Hotrails in the bridge, Duckbucker in the middle, and a Little 59' for the neck. This is actually the "Everything Axe" set except with a Hotrails in the bridge for a more aggressive vibe.

if u play hard rock/metal a la satch and vai, then i suggest u go with a dimarzio evolution in the bridge and a seymour duncan pearly gates in the neck. if your guitar is s/s/s or h/s/s, you might have to modify the body and change the pickguard to make it h/h like a fender big apple strat. if your pots are 250k, you'll need to change them to 500k.

Hi,
thanks for reply!

My first choice was dimarzio ToneZone for bridge and PafPro for neck (My current config is s/s/s but I can re-route it), but I cannot find any online store that ships dimarzio's to Serbia and Montenegro.
If you know some please let me know, otherwise, which pickups can sound similar to that idea of mine. The best option is some single sized hambucker becauseit doesn't require routing.
