Selling 2 nice amps and a few pedals.

Random stuff I'm planning on selling. I'm mostly selling because I have too much gear and no storage space anymore. My problem is that I'm always afraid things will be discontinued, so I buy 2 or more of every piece of gear I own. A costly lesson I've learned. So, I'm basically selling 2 amps and a bunch of pedals, some brand new.

1) 1980's Roland JC-120 Head. Has some scratchy pots, but that's the only issue. I'd like to get about $350 for it. It is primarily designed for stereo setups and I don't have room for it anymore.

2) Mesa Single Rectifier. Excellent condition. The footswitch has velcro on the bottom. I think it is about 2 years old and might want to replace the tubes, but I could be wrong because I honestly don't know much about tubes yet. Just too much for my needs. Looking for around $850 for it.

3) Individually selling three Zoom Tri Metal pedals that I bought in bulk. 2 of them are mint and unused. The third has some wear and tear, but works perfectly. These are part of Zoom's Analog pedal line before they got cheap and started making shabby plastic pedals. Check out the Harmony-Central reviews on them.

4) Probably selling a Zoom 5000 Driver Pedal. Great condition. Again, one of the few Zoom pedals before they decided to go cheap on us. Check out the reviews. http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews/Effects/product/Zoom/5000+Hybrid+Distortion+Pedal/10/1

5) A mint condition BF-3 Boss Flanger pedal. I don't use/need flanger effects.

I think that's about it for now. I've never posted in this section before, so I hope I haven't violated any message board etiquette or anything.

I live in the Cleveland Ohio area, FYI.

Got any pictures of the JC-120?

I sure do.

Re: Selling 2 nice amps and a few pedals.

Could you please post some pics of the Single Recto? I'd appreciate it! Thanks.

Also, does it sound like the tubes need to be replaced?

THANKS!

Here you go. I have just about zero experience with tubes. I can't tell if the tubes need replacing or not. All I can say is that it is a couple of years old and the tubes "might" need to be replaced. But I can't personally tell. It sounds good to me, though.

And the Roland head sounds good, but the pots are scratchy and there is that traditional hiss, but I never got an opportunity to hook it up to a stereo setup, so I haven't heard it to its full potential.

I'm pretty sure that if both amps are used to their full ability, they will make that person happy. I just don't have the need for all of that power/sound.

Here's the Mesa:

Everything I forgot to mention about the Roland JC-120 Head:

The front panel of the JC-120 has the following switches and knobs. Left to right - 2 inputs - high/low, distortion, volume, hi-treble, treble, middle, bass, reverb, rate, depth, chorus switch - fixed/off/manual, power switch - off/on.

22 1/2 inches wide by 11 inches deep by 9 inches tall and weighs about 25 pounds

You can hook up a wide variety of large or small speaker cabinets The head’s output is 8 ohms minimum on the left, and 8 ohms minimum on the right. It consists of two 60 watt stereo preamps equaling 120 watts total.

The head version is cool because you can wire it up to many different speaker combinations for a variety of sounds. You could even spread two cabinets on opposite sides for a huge wall of sound. I heard it works best with any stereo 4x12 cab as well as any number of others.

I also have a mint condition Boss Chorus Ensemble if anyone's interested. My friend owns a music store, so I get a lot of opportunities to try gear out and I also pretty much have a lifetime supply of bubble wrap.
