wow this is amazingly not cool but I agree the gear is prolly stolen or he flaked out and decided not to sell for the amount you agreed upon. either way you deserved to be told he backed out in person.

And this is why nobody buys anything from anyone with a "0" post count. They're almost always scammers preying on trusting folk.

Sorry, I've been in the middle of a move, so internet access has been spotty. I contacted him through the craigslist posting TheLivingDead brought to my attention and he's giving out a completely different number than the one he was using when I was dealing with him. I haven't bothered to call him on the new number yet, but I'm not sure why he'd flake massively and then try to re-sell the gear right away. Seems like it would have been easier to just go through with our deal and he'd already have the cash in hand. I agree, though, there's clearly "more than meets the eye" with this guy and this gear, but he's a D-bag either way...I'm steering clear!
