Series wiring for Squier VM Jaguar

Hey
I have a Squier VM Jagaur which I've re-finished in nitro and installed some Antiquity II's in (see pics)

I want to add a series wiring option for the middle pickup setting (both pickups on)

I can't find a single thread or post anywhere online where anyone has done this or explains it - well there are one or two but the diagrams don't make any sense to me very limited details, instruction or follow-ups - and they are using the low pass switch

Johnny Marr has the series as an option on his Signature jag - and he's argueably the most persistant and sucsessful jaguar player in history

I love the low pass switch - a lot of people think it does nothing - and on a clean amp it is subtle - but try it with a Big Muff - HUGE tonal change!

I'm hoping someone on the Pickup Lounge can give me better and clear directions of how to turn my upper rhythm / mud switch into a switch for changing from paralell to series

Re: Series wiring for Squier VM Jaguar

Er, how much use do you make of the Bass Cut (AKA "choke") Switch? It would be very much simpler to add Series/Parallel switching in the pickup selection switch cavity.

IMO, the key to the Marr wiring is the employment of the same 4-way lever selector switch as seen on some Telecaster variants.

Hey thanks for the reply
I use that choke switch a lot - its vital to Johnny Marrs sound too - I don't play live - I use this guitar for recording - so i don't need a fast way to switch like johnnys 4 way

I don't use that upper bass circuit switch - ever
